Abstract
The 2003 Gaza crisis has changed the foreign policy of all countries in the region, especially Saudi Arabia. The central question and goal of this research is to investigate the coordinates of the Saudi government to the Gaza crisis in 2023. The foreign policy of Saudi Arabia is still towards the ultimate goal of Vision 2030, which is the transformation of the country's economy and society.
This goal became a regional security perspective that prioritized reducing regional tensions and reducing the country's involvement in regional conflicts. The goals of Saudi foreign policy in the medium and long term are intertwined with the Palestinian challenge, such as the economic development of Saudi Arabia, the acquisition of nuclear energy, the reduction of regional tensions, and economic and technical cooperation with Israel. For this reason, it can be said that Saudi Arabia is faced with various challenges and issues in the Gaza crisis in 2023, such as political passivity, lack of active acting to resolve the tension, interactive policy with Israel and Hamas, as well as extra-regional powers.
