Abstract:
Freedom is one of the greatest divine blessings given to man. But unfortunately in today's world it has been misinterpreted, both in the Western world under the influence of humanist ideas, and in Eastern and even Islamic countries in some cases, as some have limited freedom to political freedoms, while the basis of political and social freedoms are freedoms of thought. Other freedoms will not be realized until intellectual freedom is realized. Since the concept of political freedom includes the three components of the actor, the obstacle and the goal, an attempt is made to identify these three components by referring to the Holy Quran. Our question in this research is: what is the relationship between political freedom and government in the Qur'an? Our research deals with the ultimate goal of political freedom and the obstacles to the realization of political freedom. In conclusion, it suggests that freedom in the words of the Qur'an is like the right to life
