The autopsy of Iran and Saudi Arabia's approach to the developments in Yemen (2012-2016)

New developments in Arab world transformed the approach of regional states to security and political issues of the Islamic world including Yemen. Given declining the status of Saudi Arabia, its approach to Yemen has been transformed. In fact, Saudi Arabia has tried to decrease the influence of other counries in Yemen by adopting military, economic and religious policies. Saudi Arabia's policies in Yemen include: to change the regional axis (Shia Crescent), to prevent Iran from exerting its influence in Yemen (to create chaos in the region) and to save Yemen. Iran has neutralized Saudi Arabia's policies by adopting tactics include: to give its political and strategic support for Yemen, to prevent some countries from joining Saudi Arabia's coalition and to widen gap between Arab states.
